100% agree. In a full article you have both the space and the time to come up with evocative language that makes your point and hits the right emotional tone without missing emojis.

But in texts or other short statements, emojis are priceless! I use them all the time, but only one at a time. Seeing a string of emojis causes me more cognitive load than words. The emoji is supposed to be like an accent, not like a word on its own. Please stop trying to make sentences out of emojis. My brain hurts!
