Great piece! I quite like drugs myself, and introduce my kids to recreational and therapeutic use myself. First by talking about them, and at the right age, by giving it to them under supervision, as Europeans do with alcohol. The problems with recreational drugs generally stem from a lack of knowledge about effects and dosage. Equip your kids with knowledge and when the inevitable gaps show up, be there to listen or to intervene or to be a character witness :)
