I believe truth is only relevant in its ability to predict things. If a statement can’t be validated by its ability to predict then it has no value. Your essay raises some interesting points about what kind of future we want to live in but you also make broad statements that are opinions stated as if they’re facts. Technology lacks purpose? Lack of purpose means lack of direction?

Life and the universe are random. Just go with it. That’s a belief, but I’m pretty sure the future will back me up.
