I value comments myself immensely, so I try to be thoughtful myself when leaving them. When I can’t come up with something insightful it usually means I’m trying to check the box, so I reconsider commenting at all. ‘Thanks for the article’ or ‘Good read’ doesn’t do anything for me at all. My favourites are when a reader prods me a little. Like ‘why do you believe this?’
