If I gave you (or anyone else) one clap, it’s just a polite acknowledgement that I read the story all the way to the end. It also means I didn’t like it, so yes, a fart in their general direction. I get bored at about 10 claps so that’s my normal number if I like a story. 50 is for anything RC Hammond writes because I worry one of his insane fans will slash my tires if I don’t.
