I’ve always thought it was just that some publisher liked your work and then it was some % got accepted by Medium. Think about what articles you are particularly tickled by, and you’ll realize how subjective a process it is. I’ve signed up to receive a writers work by email and then 5 articles later realized that I had read their best work already.
