My follower strategy has evolved from initially wanting to follow only writers I wanted to read, then I discovered the email update version of follow, and allowed my follower ratio to drift to 1 follower for every 10 followed (somehow that made me feel like a hotshot.

Then one day I realized I can achieve that ratio anytime I want by just deleting a bunch of followers, so I abandoned that strategy and just started following everyone who followed me, but only the paid accounts, unless I super like them, but turns out I only super like people who are paid accounts anyway. Evolution continues.
