Thanks for the article Grandma! I don’t know where I saw someone else do a similar CTA, but it’s certainly not my idea. And I do constantly tinker with it. Also correct that I use an external platform for my email list, Beehiiv, but Substack and others are popular too.

I completely agree that there are some people whose stories I like, but they publish a lot that I don’t like too. In my case I don’t mind hitting delete a lot, but I get how annoying it must feel.

Also, I made it two a week because somebody with a lesser belt (tangerine?) in social media marketing suggested twice a week. I have no belt and sometimes no pants, so I’ll consider your preference now to reduce it to one a week! No promises.
