Those white collar scam artists exist here in Canada too. They couch it in sophistication so it seems legit, but founders always get screwed. In the cases I’ve seen, it’s a result of the entrepreneur getting seduced by the easy money but the investor is the only one who wins. Sorry you and Ramzi went through this.
