We have free medical care and shelters in Canada, but still lots of homeless people. I don’t judge them, but I often think I’d like to be part of a solution, and I haven’t seen one. The reasons are complex, but it seems worst in the US where the prevailing attitude seems to be that poverty is a result of laziness. I wonder why you don’t see it in Spain or as another commenter said, in UAE? Thanks for the post. A subject to consider.
