Yes, it’s certainly hard to imagine a day when AI will be more human than us, but I’m reminded of my reaction when i first saw what LLMs like chatGPT can do and more importantly, how they do it, which is to gradually learn how to behave by watching other people. My reaction wasn’t “oh my god, the robots are becoming human”, it was “oh my god, we’re just organic robots”

It’s entirely possible we’re the AI. How’s that for imagination?
